She previously served as a senior principal at American Management Systems, as a sales representative for IBM, and as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs & Company. She is the co-author of the 2000 book "Going to the Top: A Road Map for Success from America's Leading Women Executives" (published by Penguin).
