Joel Stein is the writer of the weekly back page humor column in TIME magazine, the publication he first joined in 1997. In addition to other writing for TIME, Mr. Stein has penned articles for the New Yorker, GQ, Esquire, Travel & Leisure, Wired, Playboy, Elle, and many more. He has also taught a class in humor writing at Princeton University, and wrote a column for the Los Angeles Times for four years.
