Lt. Gen John Castellaw (U.S. Marines, retired) is the president of the Crockett Policy Institute, a member of the National Security Advisory Council of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a teaching fellow in the College of Business and Global Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Martin. He was a career Marine who served as chief of staff for the U.S. Central Command at the height of the war in Iraq. In the Pentagon for his last tours, he oversaw Marine Aviation and the creation and execution of the Marine Corps budget.
