John Gizzi is the Washington, DC-based political editor for Human Events, which he joined in 1979 after a stint in the office of the Travis County, TX, Tax Assessor. A past winner of an award for journalistic excellence, in 2002 he was named Journalist of the Year by the Conservative Political Action Conference.
