THE SENATE ACQUITS TRUMP ON ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT

JENS DAVID OHLIN is Professor and Vice Dean at Cornell Law School, teaching and writing about criminal law and international law. Trained as both a lawyer and a philosopher, his latest research project involves foreign election interference. His book, Election Interference: International Law and the Future of Democracy, is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press in 2020. Prof. Ohlin is also a dedicated teacher and the sole author of three new casebooks in three different fields: Criminal Procedure: Doctrine, Application, and Practice (2019)Criminal Law: Doctrine, Application, and Practice (2nd ed. 2018) and International Law: Evolving Doctrine and Practice (2018).The Criminal Procedure book is also available in two splits: Investigative Criminal Procedure and Adjudicative Criminal Procedure. In addition to dozens of law review articles and book chapters, Ohlin has published several monographs and edited volumes, including Interrogation and Torture: Integrating Efficacy with Law and Morality (OUP 2020, with S.J. Barela, M. Fallon, & G. Gaggioli); Weighing Lives in War (OUP 2017, with L. May & C. Finkelstein); Research Handbook on Remote Warfare (Elgar 2017); Necessity in International Law (OUP 2016, with L. May); The Assault on International Law (OUP 2015); Targeted Killings: Law and Morality in an Asymmetrical World (OUP 2012, with A. Altman & C. Finkelstein); Cyber-War: Law & Ethics for Virtual Conflicts (OUP 2015, with C. Finkelstein & K. Govern); and Defending Humanity: When Force is Justified and Why (OUP 2008, with George Fletcher).He is co-editor, with Claire Finkelstein, of the Oxford Series in Ethics, National Security, and the Rule of Law, a steering-board member of an international working group researching secondary liability for international crimes, and a co-editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook on International Criminal Justice.
