COVID-19 AND THE PRISON POPULATION

JOHN PAITAKES,  Ph.D., professor of Criminal Justice at Rider University is our guest as efforts continue to address the coronavirus pandemic amongst the prison population. Paitakes has more than 40-years of experience in the criminal justice system working as Assistant Chief Probation Officer at the Somerset County, NJ Probation Department. He is also a former past president of the New Jersey Criminal Justice Educators Association and a member of the NJ Parole Advisory Board. He is currently a professor of Criminal Justice at Rider University and has taught criminal justice at both Seton Hall and Rutgers Universities.
